When you're at Household Collective shows, you're in our House and we want you to feel like it's home. We want to make sure our dancefloor is a safe place for everyone.
It's important that we treat each other like family at our shows. Our dancefloor is a place to escape the stress and worries of everyday life, and to fully be present in the moment with music and friends.
Your safety is a priority to us. If you see or experience unwanted attention, contact, harassment, bullying, or behavior of any kind that makes you uncomfortable, please let someone in Household Collective know. We have a collective of supportive men and women available on the dancefloor to help, and we work very closely with the venues we play at to create action plans and protocols for each and every show.
Our Collective is trained in sexual assault prevention and bystander awareness through working with SAVA Center in their "It's On Us - Raise The Bar" program here in Fort Collins. We are prepared to remove anyone participating in racism, sexism, ableism, ageism, homophobia, transphobia, or xenophobia of any kind. Non-consent will not be tolerated at our House.
The aim of our policy is to transform the Northern Colorado nightlife culture. The guidelines in our protocol include creating and delivering strong preventative actions alongside our partners and venues, actively supporting victims when violence does occur, and effectively holding perpetrators accountable.
If you would like to share feedback or report an experience related to harassment or assault at one of our shows, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
If you would like any help or resources regarding sexual assault, please contact SAVA (Sexual Assault Victims Advocate Center). They have a 24 Hour Crisis support line.
